The Fairfield County Field Hockey Association was created in 2004 with the intent to promote the sport of field hockey to youth girls in a competitive, fun, and safe environment where they can learn the basic essentials of the sport. The association is currently comprised of eight towns within Fairfield County. The towns involved created a governing board which includes a representative from each town. This gives all towns, that are involved, an equal say in decisions that are made.
